MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Bethel Elementary School.  We are looking forward to an exciting new school year.  We expect all students to believe in their success and to achieve in our safe, pleasant environment.

The Bethel staff is committed to helping each child achieve their potential.  We model what we expect from our students and we practice the belief that each child can achieve.  Many methods of instruction are used to instill learning, while seeing the positive in all.

We, at Bethel, are a community focusing on respect and responsibility for self and others.  Our students and staff are expected to treat each other with kindness so we have integrated an anti-bullying program featuring class meetings into our daily activities.  This program encourages students to use effective decision making and positive conflict resolution skills that will be used throughout their lives.

We invite you to join us on this journey toward our goal as it takes a village to raise a child.

Sincerely,

Cynthia J. Jenkins
