Kyle Batz is a 2002 graduate of Tulpehocken Area School District and has continued to live in Tulpehocken township with his family. He has a daughter and son in the Tulpehocken School District. He is a project manager for a local Intermediate Unit for 13 years. Kyle along with his family are also local business owners. His hobbies include snowmobiling, watersports, and spending time with his family at the beach and the family cabin.
Chris Heck is serving his second year as a school board member. Chris is employed as an HVAC Technician. Chris resides in Tulpehocken Township with his wife and two children.
April Klopp has lived in Bethel for 25 years and has two boys attending Tulpehocken Area School District. April and her husband are business owners and active community members. April served seven years as a PTO officer and served on the Tulpehocken Education Foundation Board of Directors. She volunteers with the Tulpehocken Parent Music Association and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
Oscar Manbeck has served on the Tulpehocken Area School District Board of Directors for 32 years. He has served as President, Treasurer, and as Negotiations Committee Chair. Oscar has also represented the District on the Berks Career and Technology Center's Joint Operating Committee for 20 years. Oscar and his wife are farmers and live in Bethel.
William Palmer has served on the Tulpehocken Area School District Board of Directors for 13 years. He is a graduate of Tulpehocken. William and his wife are farmers and live in Penn Township.
Kristan Rissmiller is joyfully married to her husband and lives in Penn Township with their 3 teenage children for 11 years. She was born and raised in Exeter Township and graduated from Liberty University. She has 1 son who graduated from Tulpehocken and 2 more teens in Tulpehocken HS. She appreciates a small, farming community and their work ethic and how we can all get to know each other and work together. She works part time for a medical office and full time for her family! She enjoys having fun with her family and watching them grow and flourish! She also enjoys water skiing, gardening, animals and various church activities.
Anthony Rodig has been employed by a content and publishing company as an IT Infrastructure Engineer for the last 17 years. His 24 year Air Force career consists of seven years of active duty and 17 years with the Air National Guard, where he still serves today. He leads in his Church’s men’s group and provides technology support. He is a graduate of Westminster High School (Maryland) and Carroll Country Career and Technology Center, the Community College of the Air Force with AAS degrees in Aircraft Maintenance and Information Systems, Burlington County College with an AS degree in Business Administration, and Albright College with BS in Information Systems. His hobbies include amateur investing, helping on his neighbors farm, and home repair projects. Anthony and his family have lived in Jefferson Township for 12 years where they have two children attending in the district.
Daniel Steinhauer is a 1982 graduate of Tulpehocken Area School District. He served in the United States Air Force from 1982 - 1986. He is self-employed as a cabinet and furniture builder and enjoys raising his own food. He has been happily married for 30 years and has two children.
Arlan Werst has lived in Penn Township for 30 years. He has one grandson who graduated in 2012 and three other grandchildren still attending school in the District. He is a graduate of Brandywine Heights School District and Lehigh University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Employed in the financial services industry for 36 years, he is retired.
