Penn State Dual Enrollment applications are due to Ms. Dawson by

for the Spring 2018 semester.
Here at Tulpehocken we offer two different types of Dual Enrollment. The first type of dual enrollment is when a student takes a class at Tulpehocken and will receive college credit from either RACC or HACC upon successful completion of the course. Since these classes run all year at Tulpehocken, the student will receive between 3-6 college credits pending they receive at least a passing grade all year. Please click here for more information about RACC English 12 with Mrs. Delehanty. Please click here for more information about HACC Accounting and Math with Mrs. Bross.
The second type of Dual Enrollment is when a student takes a college level course at the actual college. Qualified seniors must have an 80% minimum GPA and approval from their school counselor. Students are allowed to take two college courses per semester pending their school counselor approval and are also responsible for their own transportation to/from the college campus. Students will be granted 1 credit per class from Tulpehocken and the final grade will carry an AP credit weight. Penn State Berks, RACC, and HACC are the three colleges approved for this type of dual enrollment.
Regardless of the type of Dual Enrollment you chose, the student is responsible for all expenses accrued. If you are interested in taking any Dual Enrollment courses, please contact Ms. Dawson in the Guidance Office.
If you have taken or are currently taking Dual Enrollment courses, you will need a transcript from that college to submit with your application when applying to your future college.
