I am currently in my 11th year teaching special education at Penn Bernville Elementary School. I received my bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. I received a master’s degree from Wilkes University in Educational Development and Strategies and I recently completed another master’s degree from Wilkes University in Classroom Technology. Throughout my years at Penn Bernville, I have worked with students of varying disabilities across many grade levels. Working with students with such a variety of disabilities, I have developed many ideas and strategies that I can use in my classroom to assist and support my students. Currently I am teaching the Read 180 and System 44 reading programs to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. I also see students individually or in small groups for math, additional reading support, as well as social skills.
