Tulpehocken Area High School

The Tulpehocken Area High School invites all military veterans to our annual Veterans Day festivities on Tuesday November 11th. Military veterans are welcome to arrive around 9AM for breakfast in their honor, followed by the Veterans Day assembly at 10AM in the high school’s gymnasium. If you are interested, or you know a veteran who would be interested in attending this event please call the Veterans Day coordinator, Mr. Minnich at 610-488-6286 Ext. 2104 and leave a message with your name and how many will be attending, or you can email this information to Mr. Minnich at mminnich@tulpehocken.org. Please RSVP before Friday October 31st. So we know we have enough food and seating, you must RSVP by October 31st to gain entrance on Veterans Day. We look forward to seeing all our local military veterans on Tuesday November 11th and we thank you for your service.

Tonight we will be holding the graduation ceremony at 7:00PM clock in the stadium. Please be advised that there is still rain in the forecast but we are hoping to conclude our ceremony before any major rainfall. Tickets are not needed for the out door ceremony. Reminder that there is a social in the gym at 6:00PM and gates open to the stadium at 5:30PM. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and hope to have a fantastic ceremony. Thank you. -Mr. Hamrick

Congrats to all our Tulpy BCTC students who were recognized at the recent Senior Recognition Ceremony.

What a phenomenal performance of the Outsiders! Everyone did a fantastic job. Special thanks to the airfield for letting us use the space.

BCTC will be closed on Wednesday, April 16th, Tulpehocken will still be in session. If students have a ride or drive, they may arrive by 11:12 to attend their 5th period class. If they do not have transportation, please arrive by 7:40, check in at the desk and report to the cafeteria for study hall. Both BCTC and Tulpehocken will be back in session on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Congrats to Hanna Woolf for being nominated for the Anne Sullivan Award. She was recognized last night at the BCIU. Hanna personifies this award and we are so proud and impressed with the work she does. Great job Hanna!

Unfortunately, due to the current conditions of our secondary roads and the potential for the next storm to hit at dismissal time, we will be moving to a virtual snow day. All transportation – non-public and off-campus is canceled. All after school activities are canceled. Thank you and have a great day!

Schools will be operating on a two hour delay today, February 12, 2025. All non-public and off-campus transportation is on a two hour delay as well.
