Dear Tulpehocken Families,

Tulpehocken Area School District, in partnership with Berks Community Health Center, is pleased to host the Wellness Bus on Thursday, August 13, at the Tulpehocken Area High School.

The Wellness Bus provides an excellent opportunity for students to receive:
Required school immunizations
Annual well-child checkups
Other routine preventive healthcare services
Services are available through your insurance or on a sliding fee scale for eligible families.

After you submit the registration form, Berks Community Health Center will contact your family to complete the registration process and schedule an appointment time.

This is a great opportunity for students to receive any immunizations required for school attendance, including:
Kindergarten: Students entering kindergarten must have all required Pennsylvania school-entry immunizations.
7th Grade: Students entering 7th grade must have one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) and one dose of Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV).
12th Grade: Students entering 12th grade must have a second dose of the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV), unless they received their first dose at age 16 or older.
​​​​​​​We encourage families to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to ensure their children are healthy and ready for the start of the school year.

There is just one skid of desks remaining in the west parking lot of the Middle/High School if anyone is interested. Have a great day!

Parking for the Tulpehocken Area High School Graduation ceremony is going to follow the picture attached. All cars will enter the lower parking lot off of School Road and come across the back of the school to enter Graduation parking. Just as student pickup and drop-off are. All other entrances will be closed with signs directing everyone to the entrance to the lower parking lot off of School Road.

So we’re planning on leaving a bit early today

And hopes that tomorrow will be a normal school day
Due to the potential for icy road conditions this afternoon, we will be dismissing MS and HS - 11:00 and Elementary at 11:45.
Lunches will not be served at the secondary level but will be served at the elementary level.

The Tulpehocken Area High School invites all military veterans to our annual Veterans Day festivities on Tuesday November 11th. Military veterans are welcome to arrive around 9AM for breakfast in their honor, followed by the Veterans Day assembly at 10AM in the high school’s gymnasium. If you are interested, or you know a veteran who would be interested in attending this event please call the Veterans Day coordinator, Mr. Minnich at 610-488-6286 Ext. 2104 and leave a message with your name and how many will be attending, or you can email this information to Mr. Minnich at mminnich@tulpehocken.org. Please RSVP before Friday October 31st. So we know we have enough food and seating, you must RSVP by October 31st to gain entrance on Veterans Day. We look forward to seeing all our local military veterans on Tuesday November 11th and we thank you for your service.
