Welcome, Tulpy Families!
Welcome to a new school year! We are so excited to welcome our Tulpehocken Elementary students and families back for another year of learning, growing, and making connections.
The Elementary Counseling Office is here to support our students academically, socially, and emotionally. We look forward to getting to know our new students and reconnecting with those we have worked with in the past. Throughout the year, our counseling lessons will focus on important skills such as making positive choices, using coping skills, solving problems, building and maintaining friendships, managing emotions, and responding to challenging situations.
We are also fortunate to partner with community organizations that provide additional support for our students and families. Berks Counseling Center provides individual therapy services within our schools, helping students access support in a familiar and comfortable setting.
We also partner with The Caron Foundation and Savannah Shirey, who facilitates small groups throughout the school year. Groups may focus on topics such as Anger Management, Big Emotions, Friendship, Resiliency, Grief & Loss, Stress Management, and Social Skills. These groups provide students with a supportive environment to learn, practice new skills, and connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges.
In addition, Mrs. Beck will be providing our elementary students with career-focused lessons in both the fall and spring, helping students begin to explore their interests, strengths, and the many possibilities for their future.
